Gathering Strength Seated HIIT

Build endurance, stamina and strength from your seat! Seated HIIT for Stamina and Strength is sponsored by Gathering Strength, Inc., who's "mission is to empower people with physically disabling conditions by ensuring equitable access to community resources and spaces, technology, and better health."

Each class has adapted cardiovascular and strength exercises including periods of high intensity interval training (HIIT), which has been shown to help build stamina and burn more calories. Participants have the option to engage in HIIT portions or keep a slower pace.

This YFF Jump-Start is perfect for a basic introduction for anyone new to Yamuna Foot Fitness as well as a deep refresh for anyone familiar with the practice. We will break down the Yamuna Self-Assessment Walking Exercise and learn/review the Basic Maintenance Routine using Yamuna Foot Wakers. This routine can be practiced seated, standing, or a combination of both. If you have foot pain, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, fallen arches, or weak ankles or feet - this class is for you! Gathering Strength Seated HIIT

Build endurance, stamina and strength from your seat! Seated HIIT for Stamina and Strength is sponsored by Gathering Strength, Inc., who's "mission is to empower people with physically disabling conditions by ensuring equitable access to community resources and spaces, technology, and better health."

Each class has adapted cardiovascular and strength exercises including periods of high intensity interval training (HIIT), which has been shown to help build stamina and burn more calories. Participants have the option to engage in HIIT portions or keep a slower pace.

These classes are FREE, and there is no commitment. You are welcome to attend as many or as few classes as you’d like. Family members and caregivers are welcome to join us.
